A group of students recently enjoyed a rewarding trip to Ellenhall Park Farm, where they took part in a day of fishing in a calm and supportive outdoor setting.
Throughout the day, every student successfully caught a fish! All the students showed patience, focus, and resilience as they learned how to handle equipment, wait to catch a bite and keep going.
Beyond the enjoyment, the experience offered valuable learning opportunities. Students developed their confidence, practised following instructions, and improved their ability to stay engaged in a new environment. The trip also encouraged respect for nature, and an understanding of outdoor safety.
