Our Post 16 students recently had the opportunity to volunteer at the Macmillan Coffee Morning held at Stoke City Football Club, helping to sell cakes and raise money for a fantastic cause.
Throughout the event, the students represented themselves exceptionally well, showing maturity, respect, and a positive attitude. They worked hard to support the fundraiser while engaging confidently with members of the local community.
A highlight of the morning was the excellent social interaction between our students and the older adults attending the event. They took the time to chat, listen, and build positive relationships, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Their polite and respectful manner was noticed and appreciated by everyone involved.
The experience provided valuable opportunities for students to develop their communication, teamwork, and customer service skills while giving back to the community. We are incredibly proud of the way they conducted themselves and the positive impression they made.
Well done to all of our Post 16 students for being fantastic ambassadors while supporting Macmillan Cancer Support and helping to make the event a success
