The nurture group has been having a blast with their forest school programme, and as the weather got better, the opportunities became even more exciting! One student asked us as we walked down to Rudyard Lake, “Wouldn’t it be amazing if we could go on a boat one day?” And guess what? The very next week, we were on that boat! It was a lovely day spent sailing around the lake, learning all sorts of new things about the lakes.
The pupils absolutely loved the experience, and they were so grateful to our driver, Ray, who had given up his time to take us out on his day off. When asked what their favourite part of the day was, they said “the movement of the boat rocking side to side”
