At Sporting Stars Academy, our aim is to unlock students’ potential so that they can achieve a brighter future.
Our core values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience are important to establishing the culture of our Academy. These values have evolved in consultation with both staff and students.
Developing a sense of Respect for themselves and others is at the heart of everything we strive for at the Academy. In order to help students to become Responsible young adults, we strive to embed our core values in every individual and encourage Resilience to empower students to overcome adversity and challenges.
Below is how students perceive these values:
- Respect: This means to show that you are mindful of someone else and their feelings. To behave and act in a respectful way is to show that you are considerate.
- Responsible: This means to take responsibility for our actions to keep each other safe. We are all responsible for one another as well as ourselves.
- Resilience: This means to show that you are able to recover from a set-back, to show that you won’t give up and that you will work hard and try again in order to achieve your goals.
